Scrappy Stashbuster Shawl

$8.00

Scrappy Stashbuster is a generously sized triangle shawl worked from one end point to the other. Beginning with a handful of stitches, this shawl takes shape by increasing along one edge (to the center) during Part I, then decreasing along one edge during Part II.

Scrappy Stashbuster is worked holding two strands of fingering weight yarn together, throughout, for a playful marl of colors and melding of texture. Part I of this design features varied sections of Garter & Stockinette Stitch, with intermittent accents of a Lateral Braid – worked on both the RS and the WS. Part II of this design features “stripes” of Modified Garter Stitch, transitioning through colors.

The sample reflects a combination of six total colors. As this is intended to be a fun stash-buster knit, feel free to use more than six colors if desired! For yarn selection planning purposes, a color pairing sequence schematic is included in the pattern.

Scrappy Stashbuster Shawl is reversible and can be worn with either / both sides facing out!

This is an advanced-beginner level pattern.
